The music is ripped from Reyn Ouwehand's "Flimbo's Quest" intro theme — one of the Dutch composer's most celebrated game soundtracks and a popular choice for crack intros of the late era. Roy coded the intro for North East Importers (NEI), a German group founded in June 1989 whose name reflects the mail-trading networks that connected Northern European crackers. Released on 25 January 1991, this arrived in the twilight years of active C64 cracking in Germany. The HVSC preserves Ouwehand's original composition. Doc Snyder's page documents NEI's output with detailed per-intro credits. Ouwehand would continue composing for games well into the 1990s, his work bridging the transition from 8-bit to 16-bit platforms. The group name "North East Importers" explicitly references their role in the distribution chain — importing cracked software from other regions.
